Well as for me it's effected my life in a massive way. I met my partner Tanya (tanz ) through the site, if i wasn't part of the site i wouldn't have her or my family. Including her and our wonderful kids. So it hdas infact been a major part in helping to create my life as it is now.

It challenged my thinking for the first few years, I couldnt understand why anyone would spend so much on them. I eventually gave in and done it myself and seen why.
But i have to say id never spend the same on a starlet again,id prefer to have power/comfort/handling in stock form than have power/surprise factor/cheap costs

Cant stay away from it an free min im on it. im broke from buyin parts lol i would have been happy wit an exhaust system an decat. now im buyin anything that i can get a few bhp more lol but i love it

Would have to say its affected me.. didn't no a great deal about the starlet when i bought it since then iv built my own engine ect ect spent a fair few grand thanks to the site... lol
But not only the info great, its got some top lads on here to, other forums, you ask a question you get called all the names under the sun but most members, here its chilled, you tell someone there wrong and point them in the right direction.. another happy customer, and that for me is the main reason i keep coming pack, its not full of tossers!!

I banged a bird that was a member on here tho she mostly used uksc so it affected mine in atleast one good way tho my memories of Tgtt and my glanza are mostly consist of blood sweat n tears + being skint all the time, tbh best thing i done was sell it as i saved up n got a flat and now drive a x5...happy days

I actually stalked the site for about a year after I got my first starlet, just reading and going through old technical threads. IMO the technical disscussions back then where far more engaging. There was alot of old knowledge and experience being shared and debated. After a while I notice that the quality of the responses in the tech sections have declined and there not much room for new disscussions since older members are tired of continually reposting the same information for the same old questions asked. It would be about 6 years since I first made contact with the site and it has actually saved me money. By reading the tech sections, doing the research and learning from others "trial and error" experiments that sometimes didn't produce worthwhile results. Now, I mainly use the site to get bits to keep my GT in top condition that aren't available locally. I still look through the threads almost daily though...

Its been an educational experience for me as everyday I have learned more and more about my beloved Glanza's capabilities and faults and I have made some good friends along the way and I met my girlfriend as a result of owning a Starlet Gt turbo as she had a Starlet Gi at the time and we now have a beautiful 6 year son and a gorgeous female Boxer called Kami as a result so you could say that Starlet ownership aswell as being a member on the site has had a big effect on my life and I'm sure it will for many years to come and I have to agree with the lads comments about the site not being as good as it used to be..............
