Hello All,

Ive recently purchased a KSROM (daughterboard) 4efte ECU for my glanza (97) but before installing it i thought i would see what my current rev limit is on my current ECU (which should be stock no stickers no seals). Since i dont normally go near the redline as its pointless with a stock ct9 but im pretty sure 7,800rpm in 3rd is not stock?! Does this mean my ECU is modified??

Cant test speed cut for obvious reasons...
Cant test boost cut because stock setup...

Anyone suggest anything to find out?

Sorry for the essay

check what stickers it has on it.

also im pretty sure thats the stock limit, but i've never taken mine there.

also i cant beleive you bought a ksrom. seriously dude what were you thinking. there is next to no information on them, and there is a possibility it could bugger your car up.

Thanks for the replies guys.

@ sx_turbo: was a bit silly i know, kind of an impulse buy but the jap guy i got it from insures me it was mapped for 1 bar on ct9 with same mods as to what i am aiming for plus self learns like all other modified stock 4efte ECUs.

@ franza: cheers for pic although was hoping i could find out any other way, should of said really. just weird how it revs to 7,800 and there no stickers or seals on it....?

glanza has a higher rev limit......around 7500/7600rpm..........also the rev counter is usually about 300rpm out..........so that may be why u are seeing 7800rpm at rev limit
