iv seen folk mix up the 2 wires going to the map and fcd and it gives u all the symptoms ur getting
as in swapping the white and yellow ones round
also whats it set to while ur installing it ? if u set it to 12 that should the factory settings as if it wasnt installed
Check you have 12 volts on the red and black, then check you have not dislodged the pin to the ecu in the ecu plug. Sometimes when searching and stripping the wire back it can be pulled back into the plug a little to much and cause a bad connection.
i just removed the plug from : sensor assy, turbo pressure, and the car stopped.
undid the other unit in the left corner of engine bay if looking at car and that didnt do anything(has to vacuum pipes going in)
i will do a video but i have a poo phone so dont expect to much.
With the engine idling, pull the spark plug leads off one at a time (if you've got some thick rubber gloves, put them on). If you pull a lead off and there is no change in how the engine runs, then you've identified a cylinder that's in trouble.
You've just disconnected the MAP sensor when the engine was running, so that's not surprising. Now reset the ECU (remove the battery negative terminal or the 15amp EFI fuse for 30 seconds), run the engine for approx 30 seconds giving it a few revs and then check for codes again.
