did a diagnostic and it shows error map sensor again.

tryed the different settings on the fcd 1-3 makes it stall and 7-8 it just about runs then at 12 its the same.

engine light stays on the whole time

unplugged the fcd and all is spot on again ??

and also i have run 12v - and + seperatley to the fcd to makesure there getting full power

i have done it.

it turns out you HAVE to wire up the hks fcd with ignition OF and the hks fcd HAS to be on setting 12 when wiring it up and starting car for first time.
then an settings HAVE to be done with ignition ON.

now running full 16 psi on ct9 without issue and set it up tonight with my wideband (what a piece of kit)

12.3 air / fuel on full boost, and pulls so hard it scares me,the boost comes in so savagely andi am very surprised me clutch isnt slipping either

thanks again for all your help and i hope the administration can add to the fcd fitting guide about the setting it has to be on before fitting and any adjustments made.

cheers

Never heard of that procedure having to be followed to get one to work.

16 psi on a CT9 is a waste of time, all you are doing is pumping really hot air into the engine, no matter what intercooler you are using. 12.3 on full boost is also a bit lean on a FPR and FCD set up, aim for 11.5 AFR, 14psi and set the base timing to 12 degrees for a safer set up.
