How do I stop my car messing up tv signal?

Does anyone know how I can stop my car from interfering with tv signal?

Usually it's to do with your alternator, your probably best off replacing it!

My brothers moped interfers with my tv its bloody annoying.

There is a few things that can do it, have you got the standard skinny leads cause i swear it was when i replaced my leads that problem went away for me but im not sure. As i didnt know the problem had gone away untill along time after, and i still have the same alternator i always had so not that for me.

Well, you can't watch TV and drive your car at the same time. Unless its doing it while the car's turned off which is a bit bizzare?

If its the family inside moaning evey time you start it up and nip out, well, I'd just tell em, Hard luck

Its the frequency of the electro magnetic waves caused by the spark plugs firing that causes it, not much you can do about that lol. Its usually only on VHF tv signals that it affects, when we go digital soon it wont be a problem for them lol.
