how much power can a exedy stage one clutch?

my 82 is running 0.7bar on a standard ct9 and has an exedy stage 1 clutch fitted a month ago and i think it is slipping....? how huch power can they take?

what do you mean stage 1? the standard replacement one?

mine had the same power as yours and lasted about 6 months so could well be slipping. they arent great.

the should take a bit more abuse than that and last longer than a month, there is some fake exedy clutches around.

standard boost they are fine. any more and they dont last long at all.

it was a stage one organic clutch, cost £250.

must have been fake or your flywheel was marked to death because theres lads with over 200bhp using them with no problems

i have an organic. i run 200bhp and its been fine for about 4 years or so!

I have the same kit fitted to my glanza for over 30.000 klm and the only problem is that when is overheated then it starts to loose his grip...

No problems with my one, but the flywheel was also replaced at the same time. 190hp for just under 2 years now.
