Hello i am a new member and this is my first Gt, i was wondering if you could guide me as how much power you think my car has these are the main mods:

Front mount intercooler, Hard pipe kit, Uprated fuel regulator, Blow off valve, Toyo sport manifold, CT12 Ball bearing turbo, Breather filter, Defi gauges, Full S/S exhaust, Lowered on GMAX shaocks & springs, Turbo timer, Tom alloy wheels

boost keeps getting cut, so i asssume i need a FCD?

thanks. Slug

Welcome to the site mate.

My guess is 147.457bhp, lets get a pool going :p, you should be able to get it dynoed for below £50 and then you can measure the gains etc from where you are now.

welcome. ct12 ball bearing turbo eh - sounds like the previous owner had a vivid imagination. do some research on fcds and how to use them- search on here for adjusting a hks actuator, if its hitting fuel cut it may be because of this being badly adjusted without the use of an fcd. have a look in and around the ecu(behind the cigarette tray) for an fcd in case theres one there already. it can be adjusted too if its a hks one

my manual boost controller under the bonnet was bust, so i bought a new one and turned the boost all the way down, now it does go through 1st and 2nd gears but when in 3rd it still cuts out, i spoke to one of the guys from rj tuning they said it shouldnt be doing that if the boost is turned all the way down, he also said it could be the actuator rod not set properly and to have a look a make ajdustments and see how it goes

Better to get an electronic boost controller, a good one of those makes sure that the boost will be stable, and if you install it correct fuel cut won't be a problem anymore. And take a look at the actuator, if it's set incorrect, fuel cut will be there all the time

I think i have found the problem, had a look at the actuator and were it bolts on to the turbo someone has placed 6 washers under both bolts, i assume this has raised the boost hence my fuel cut out problem, will take the washers out tomorrow and see how it goes.
