reet...for a starlet you can only get a cable converter cheap...unless you wanna spend big dollar on custom gauges...

i sourced my converter from http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_detail.php?prodID=4708 and at £48 deliverd 2 days later i was chuffed....

now its a simple job and will take 10 minutes...it took me 20 ish as it was p***ing down...

you will need....

hands.....

:D:p

right....the first step you want to do is remove the pipe going to your air box-filter.....

after doing that(2 jubilee clibs) take it off so you will have enough room....

.....you will see a long cable with a metal pipe with lines in....

....anyway undo that anti clock wise and pull it out softly and then pull teh cable out....

....the cable has a litle bt on the end so it reads properly....

when the cable is out you want to put the converter(little metal box with one bolt on the end)...onto teh thread where the cable was....

do it up as tight as poss by turnng the bolt with your hands....

....then turn the converter it self so its tight....

......then put the cable back in and make sure the cable sits in the joint right....

....do up the cable as it was and go for a little drive....mine is great and doesnt wobble...is smooth and is correct speed and not out what so ever....

cheers.CaL
