How to fit an aftermarket manifold and port your wastegate
You will need:
Rags/cloth
12mm and 14mm ring spanners
Socket set (10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 19mm)
Bucket
Pliers
Funnel
Toyota gaskets (mani-head part# 17177 ; mani-turbo part# 17278 ; turbo-downpipe part# 17279)
Electric drill
Small grinding stone
Before you start
Jack up the front of the car as it will make things much easier. Remove splash guarding from underneath (if you still have it, you’re a noob! ) Took me a couple of hours, not a huge job!
