HRF V300 inner shim kit

Ok guys,

Who has some info on the HRF inner shim kit ?
This is a very rare package which RHDJAPAN sells at 750euro.
It consists of uprated valve springs , buckets, and retainers.
It's used when doing the underbucket type shim conversion in the head.

anyone using it? or have some info on how many revs these springs can take with 264 degr/8.5 lift cams?

Is this setup any better than just a Cruise springs or Tighe springs / cams setup ?

IMO they are not worth the money. If you use a billet cams thus retaing stock size shims you will never spit one out. We used this set up and ran an 8500rpm limit without issue

dont think HRF would of gone to the hassle of making the kit if they thought it's not needed, what sort of spec is the rest of the car, head work cam's/turbo etc, no point revving it to 9k if the boost/power is dropping of at 7.5k

Hold up a sec, this is discontinued unless im mistaken. the last i heard of this item was when casper was trying to sell his one on, that had a bit missing. is HRF back???

dont know the exact details, just that RHDjapan stocks and sells quite a few bits that are known to be discontinued, if you have a few sets of these sorta things stocked, they dont really sell very often leaving them availible long after they are made.

yeah am sure they dont make them no more but few companies still have stock, just need to look about for them
