Injectors

I know the starlet has interchangeable injectors from other cars (thanks to the thread on here) but i picked up some 550s which have different part numbers and colours to the ones i was after.

But these are also 550, high impedance so how does one know which injectors work?

The ratings are similar to the ones i was after (the 550s from a Rex) and the one i have are from a Rex BUT are from a later year car rather than the earlier one hence the difference.

The part number is: 195500-2460

If there 550s, been flow tested and they marry up to the old injector and fit the rail and same loom plug i dont see there being a problem?

The closest info I can find is Side feed 550 injector Matsuda N3A1-13250 ( 195500-2460 ) purple 13.7 ohm flow 590cc @ 3.05
No Top feed info.

I know these are side feed, does that make a difference?

They are high impedance so do you think they will work?

how r u going to fit them to the fuel rail if there side feeds ? U need top feeds
