jam ecu question

been running for a while on this and about to fit td04. what i dont know is if the car runs lean on td04 can i fit 330 injectors with a jam ecu. i know they dont like rrfr s. will its map be screwed cos it doesnt know whats going on?

Just my opinion, but you're best off getting a Power FC if you're going to be running a TD04. In other words, I'd be thinking about doing the job right from the start.

only way to find out is to fit the TD04 and then see how it runs and go from there.
i do agree that some other form of control would be better. at least an safc or e-manage would be good if you cant get hold of a power fc

as for the jam units not liking adjustable fpr's, i cant see how that is true as it would have no way of knowing what the fuel pressure is anyway whether its a jam, blitz or stock unit

at the end of the day as long as you keep the boost really low before geting it checked at the rollers you wont do any damage anyway. i really dont know how far you can push these ecus tbh
