Welcome, and nice KP you've got there... Nice part of NZ you live in too! Spent a couple of days in Christchurch back in 2005... (saw War of The Worlds in the cinema up from Cathedral square, near the bar with the fireplace on the outside!)... :p

Prob will when the 4e gives up the ghost which hopefully won't be anytime soon.

Yeah i've traveled all round new zealand and theres no where i would sooner call home (well apart from honolulu that is :) )

Very nice car you've got there. You've got any picture's of the enginebay?
I've only got some old ones which i'm not very proud of since they were taken before we started cleaning it up.

Note how the inlet actually faces the right way now and my intercooler piping is at least 160mm shorter :)

Wheels are actually Black Racing not wanatabe, they are bascily a wanatabe copy but they are made in Japan and are light as a feather.

I brought another inlet manifold for $2 :) which i had planned to get cut and welded, however when i gave it to my brother whos an engineer he said that it can't be cut and welded because of the size/shape of it so instead he made a gasket and bolted a plate to the end where the throttle body was(prob weld it on sometime in the future) and milled a hole in the other end that is the correct size and bolted another plate to that end made a gasket and then just bolted the throttle body to it, if i remember right everything just bolted up no holes had to be drilled or anything, of course some of the wires/lines have had to be lenghtened to reach but really it was a pretty straight forward job. He tested it to over 100PSI and no leaks or anything which is good.

Also pleased to report that after changing the exhaust the car no longer has boost creep issues, so the car can actually be driven to its full potental now without hitting cut in damn near every gear. Runs a nice steadly 0.8bar now

On another note just had my diff rebuilt and my TRD 2way LSD fitted so as soon as i get my axles back with nice new bearings i'll fit the rear end back up and hopefully the car will be pretty much finished then, once its together we'll head out to the track and do some easy laps to run the lsd in.
