Get a 4wd car great for launching.lol 5.5k and away you go.

U dont need a 4wd car to have a good launch.. a good set of slics, a raised ass and lowered front, and launch control .. will see you launching between 1.7s to 1.8s (60ft of course).

deffo a good read in here, ive got a new starlet now, well soon enough, with LC mapped into it, so for this, this will limit the rpm itself? untill a certain speed? its 330bhp, and has launch control. would this be better launched in 2nd?

There are to many variables to say that for sure mate, you need to try out different techniques for your engine power band and tyre set up.

Launch rpm & shift rpm isnt the same for all cars. it varies for each turbo setup and modifications. There are turbos that spool up faster and go flat earlier as well as those that take time to spool up and will go on boosting till you hit rev limited. So its different for each engine/turbo setup.
