Bad news... it didn't work for me  give it back.

Farina ecu did the job (no fuel cut).

Ah damn, good thing I paid via goods and services on PayPal..... If i can ask... What didn't work about it? Was it just a normal ecu with sicker on it?

Car was running fine @1bar with fcd.
The ecu looked normal with the same sticker as on yours kept hitting fuel cut.
Swapped back to standard ecu with Jam fcd & it was Boostin fine.

Ok thanks for the info... I'll update on here what happens. I'll have to keep my eyes open for another pnp ecu.

One thing I can add, doesn't matter what turbo, boost level or car it is - get your AFR's checked after fitting a PnP ECU.

Could save you an engine

Good luck with the hunt.

Ah yeah I'd have an AFR gauge in again, this is my 3rd starlet EP82 since 2005, and my last one I had a Blitz ecu, TD04, Aem AFR gauge etc getting mid to low 11's AFR wise at WOT, and made 220 bhp, so was hoping to do similar with this one. I have had a message off a guy selling a Tom's one......

That's good, you're well educated then lol

Mid 11's is where it's at. The majority of these I've checked have run very rich (10's usually) high up the rev range which at least keeps things a bit safe!

Yeah I've also killed my share of 4EFTE's and learnt the hard way haha..... My Mk1 I had back in the day had a Jam Ecu on, put it on the rollers, and at 1bar on a ct9 it over fueled so much I only made 149 bhp lol Afr's were dropping to 9 - 10. Removed the ecu, and it solved the problem, So some of them are mapped very rich haha
