WICKED!!! THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS ,a great handling car with jap reliability...be intresting to see what this will do on the qtr mile as opposed to a renault engine, cause ye can get some wicked time with those ..

i like the chargecooler. is the pump electric or belt driven? just out of interest, where have you mounted it?

It's electric pump and it's mounted on the chassis leg just below the chargecooler watertank(blue cap) my dad runs the same setup and temps never go above 33degres and that's at 21psi at wot.so I'm hopeing for the same

i don't think there is much between a 5 and a starlet weight wise...and they can handle like hell...200bhp and your doing low 13's on the qtr mile...

little update, went out mapping on friday and was plagued with probs.1st prob being i had no clutch, then we sorted that.then while we was out.the clutch cable mount sheared off,so we did a temp fix.then went out and managed to map it to 0.9bar and it really pulls like mad above 5k.so we pulled over and upped the boost, and as i released the clutch,BANG the ratchet mech on theclutch pedal had sheared all its teeth off:-( so that was the end of mapping.

so my next plan is to run the starlet hydraulic clutch setup.which should just bolt up without any mods(haha yeah right)

also my mapper reckons its pushing around 220bhp @ 0.9 bar and thats with enough fuel at topend for it to be safe(so it can be improved for more ponies)
once the clutch is sorted its going to wgt as he knows pip quite well.and apparently there hub dyno is awesome(as accurate as a dyno can be)
