Hey Mark,
Have done nothing with the car since xmas to be honest, have a feckin electric problem with it.. friend is coming up on Saturday so I hope to have it sorted.
When I turn the ignition on, I'm getting no ignition lights, door light stays ON on the dash, wipers dont work..... So god knows what the problem is.
Once this is sorted then we are good to fire up the engine at last
.... Will keep you all updated!!

hmm sounds like the turbo timer thats connected is connected wrong or something along those line did you try it without the turbo timer and harness?

I did, so I pulled the turbo timer out and sold it !
First of all, my ignition lights were perfect. I had real trouble with the wiper fuse blowing everytime the ignition was turned on, but now.. the fuse wont blow at all and all my dash lights go really dim and then wont come on at all...!?

lol no need for them turbo timers anyway just take it easy on the wy home
sounds funny alright you try all grounds on the car and a different battery maybe?probly something simple

I had it out Johnny yeah, but I had it working perfect when I put it back in.
What would cause the door light to stay on, When I press the button in it stops beeping but the light on the dash stays on!?
Now one other thing I found weird, my alarm has a kill switch for the ignition and I noticed when I turned on the ignition the wire to the kill switch got really hot..!!??

check your earth and alarm wring,and make sure the plugs on the clocks are correct.

WOOHOO, Problem solved!!!
My alarm seemed to be shorting and causing all the ignition problems, so out with the alarm.. pulled it all completely out and job done, all my electrics work again !!!
Big thanks to S.Murphy, had us puzzled for a long time but he managed to get his head around it and sorted it for me!
Now lets get this car rolling again
