Need help about ECU pinout

Hello guys, if anyone knows about a 89661-16590 ecu and has a pinout or could help with finding one i would be really thankfull. I have been trying to find a pinout for quiet some time now with no luck, im trying to fit a piggyback on a corolla (3rd gen 4efe with the coil packs, thinking of going boost down the road)

Hmmm.. tricky one as I haven't much reference material for Corolla models.

Do you have a chassis number, year and model code for the vehicle in question?

All Japanese variants, does that sound right?

its a 98 corolla 2 EL51-CGKDK WINDY type, didnt know its a jap model but seems like it

That's a bit of a worry as any official diagrams will be in Japanese. Just like you I can't seem to find anything online either.

I notice the ECU is used in the Japanese Tercels as well, you might want to try asking a few of the amercian Tercel guys if they have any experience with imports. Tercelonline.com appears to be defunct though, sadly the site is dead. The only name that I can remember from there would be BYP (back yard productions) who did a lot of turbo swaps and power builds. That's about the only leads I got unfortunately. We didn't get Tercel's in the UK.

I tried searching for some tercel forums but could not find anything. Seems im just unlucky guess i will keep searching, thanks anyway

Quite often (but not always) the pins are ID's on the main board, so you can take the lid off and have a look. When Im doing wiring conversions I tend to take the lid of and check against any pinout info I find online just to be sure.
