I have been told by a dude who's finally fixing my car that my awesome te37's (alloy's) i bought are a tiny bit too wide,. I cant understand this as i bought them from a guy who had a 95 corolla sport and he never had any problem's of this kind what so ever,. sp here i am!, any advice or info would be greatly appreciated, thank's guys.

rim specs + tire profile

they may rub if they are wider than 6.5" across and have an offset of less than +38mm. of course it also depends on what tires you put on. higher profile tires will tend to rub when on full lock at the front..

Hi dude's, my car (94 starlet gt) currently isnt in the same county as me because it's getting work done on it, but i eventually got the detail's i think!........the tyre's are 195/50/r15 and the actual wheel's are 15 x 7 , pcd 100. and the measurement from the inside of where the wheel meet's the hub, to the outside of the wheel is 65mm. I was also told that the wheel's sit out roughly about 5mm from the arch's. I have coilover's but was told that the car height is not really the problem, which i find confusing also. Anyhoo, all help is massively appreciated, thank's verymuch guy's.

I don't have a Starlet, I'm in the US so I roll a Tercel. I run 17 x 7 205 40 17's and lowered alot. Typically if the car is lowered the passenger side fender will come in contact with the wheel over big bumps. In our case (Paseo's and Tercel's) rolling the inner fender lip and adding an adjustable pan hard bar is the solution.

That's what i was thinking, but apparently the wheels are rubbing on all side's!! , i'll probably have to get the car back and check it myself as im totally confused as to how this could happen. anyhoo, thank's for the reply's guy's, really appreciated.

I have run a set of 15x7 TE37's +35 offset with 205/50/15's at a very low ride height with zero rub issues. Unless your offset is too high (40+) and was rubbing on the strut I can't imagine you are going to have any trouble at all. You need to find out the offset of the wheel, this will be on the label on the inner rim as previously mentioned.

I'm using a set of 15x7 ET45 TSW Blades with 195/45/15 tyres up front and 195/50/15's at the rear, they don't rub.

Firstly, thanks lads. i hope you's are right because i really really do not want to be forced into having to get rid of these wheels. I travelled for age's to get them and gave the guy a good deal just for extra karma!. And yep i did ask for the sticker details but was told that it was written in japanese!, so i was wondering if there was anyway i could check the offset manually??
