Hello all.
A few months back i had some overheating probs with my 91 GT
and the engine head had to be repaired....anyway job was done and car was running fine...after awhile tho the engine check light was flashing intermittenly
then it stayed on all the time.....error code said water temp sensor..even tho i wasnt having any temperature probs....and ever since then it has had a cold start problem....my bad luck the engine then hit bearings and crankshaft and all that jazz
.....had a newer engine installed last week its running fine but the check light is still on???....same temp sensor code......i had an ignition error code and now thats gone.....even had an inlet air sensor error code and now thats gone!!!
but the Water Temp sensor error code is still showing.....can that be the problem with the cold start???.....was told to have the computer scanned.....is that the same as resetting the ecu?
