Hey guys,
I've got a little Ep91 NA.
Recently the battery light and handbrake light come up on the Dash. And my battery was dieing.
So did an initial test, the voltage at the battery was 11v. And it didn't change at all with the car running or not.
Fitted a new Alternator, and it's seems to be better but only charges at 12.2 and not 14v.

Could I have a faulty Alternator? It's a Holt's one.
Is there something else I can check?
I've put another Battery on the car aswel.

You will have to go through your wires, might have a high resistance somewhere.

Test 1
Check the voltage directly at the alternator body and the alternator + post.

Test 2
Plug out the 3 pin plug from the alternator, give pin 1 and 2 a wire directly from the battery + post.
Then see what the charge voltage is.
