How’s it goin guys an gals. I’m going to be that new annoying guy for a while until I get upto speed again on ep91’s. It’s been a while, car went off the road in 2014 an barely started since. Last week the strip down an rebuild began lol. A lot is needing replaced including a couple sills but underneath it pretty solid, engine will be coming out an getting forged later but I’ve started at the back an ripped the back axle off to do bushes breaks an shit, petrol tank is out for a clean an paint new pump etc. Right now I’m looking for the rear dust guards for the discs. Toyota have discontinued the parts an can’t find any. My question is, what other fitment fits or is a close fit? I know they really matter but I’d like to replace them if possible. I’ll be relying on you guys for this full rebuild, I’ll keep yous upto date, it’s easy going to be a 10k build. Near enough blew 1k already an that’s just on the rear axle05164492-967A-4189-8013-A8B8B9A02195.jpeg

Cheers. Looking forward to the work, not so much the emptying of the wallet Yeah I’ve seen the fiesta sills are a popular choice, fiesta mk3 5 door sills? I’ll get them done later on, not really looked into them yet

Welcome to the site Bryan, hope it's useful.

Think a few of us are at the same stage, certainly have plenty of rust to sort on mine.

The rear splash plates are toyota only unfortunately. I've run them without the guards before (just slicing the rusty bits off with the base plate still installed) which aids cooling but there's no real benefit as the rears don't get too hot anyway.

Can appreciate the costs involved, I've a rear axle to refurbish myself and not looking forward to it.

Cheers Jay, I’ll solely be using this site as a foundation for my build. An yes i know the rear dust guards don’t really matter, i was just curious if anyone on here had used something off maybe a civic or something that needed minor work to fit. The back axle is completely stripped bare, hopefully get some paint on it over the weekend. Not sure if i should just stick to the standard black or go all out an go Kawasaki green???? The cars white an probably going green on certain areas under the engine an interior. Red an blue look good to but just trying something different

Price of sheet metal at the moment then labour To shape 2 sills won't be much cheaper if at all this day and age the actual sills was cheap(they are much thicker tbf) the shipping from Estonia bumped up the price if you think that's expensive get ready prices for parts have gone insane ....if you can even find them unfortunately parts seem to be getting discontinued all the time Some breakers are asking 50 quid for roof gutters

Yeah mate prices are all going up. Luckily for me, welding and metal work will be cheap as all I’ll be paying for is material. Just got my 1st delivery of parts today from id-workz. Half them are missing an sent the wrong discs lol. Not off to a good start with them. Who else you guys using? Fensport, tuning developments? I’m trying to buy as much as I can just now as like you said, parts prices are on the rise
