New manifold question!!

Sorry to be a pain to you lot.. Can the manifold gasket for a 4EFE engine be used for the 4EFTE engine?

I am aware that turbo mani's reach higher temperatures etc so was wondering if they upgraded or thickened the gasket for this engine???

It's the same 4E gasket between the exhaust manifold and the head on both engines.

If you're talking about inlet manifolds there are two types of gasket - one with a coolant channel blocked off and one without.

Worth mentioning that I wouldn't use anything other than a genuine gasket from Toyota based on personal experiences.

i think it's the same size but turbo is much better and thick.(doyble or triple metal gasket)

In my experience as a general rule always buy stuff intended for the Turbo version - and sometimes even stock are crap when dealing with modified engines. I have blown stock gaskets in days so spend that little extra it will save you $$ in the long run.

thanks for all your replies on this, the only gasket I seem to be able to get is a normal 4E manifold to block gasket so I'll get that now today and fingers crossed that should resolve my issue
