Hehe I keep coming back to this thread to look at the kit, its just a whole other level of kit!

U going to be running this on ur 5E build Sacha? Wonder how much faster it spools on a 1.5 and when it would hit 2 bar.

Sacha that kit looks awesome!! Nice work!!

On the clearing rad side of things, what is closest? The MASSIVE compressor housing i take it? If for example that manifold was used with a GT2554R beingf much smaller, would the rad and wastegate clear a 2 core glanza rad do you think?

hey mate..
its not the turbo that sits very close to the radiator..its the runners of the manifold mate. there is a little trick we do here that you can do if you want to run thicker radiators when space is tight....you can cut a 8-10mm strip off your top radiator support "anddd thennnnnnn"...hehe..pull the rad forward. if you just re-drill the bolt holes on the radiator bracket..they can be re-used!

yes ma man...
you will hit full boost before 6000rpm. it only takes a fraction of time for it to go from 1.0-2.5bar when comparing to the time it takes to go from 0-1.0bar. once it gets going..it spools like lightning. thats the beauty of ballbearing turbos and anyone who has had a ballbearing set-up will attest to this!

we have a very similar turbo on our own demo car..not exactly the same..but very similar. our's runs a larger turbine housing ammong some other changes and is capable of a bit more power. however this turbo is mental on a full built 5E. on our full spec'd out 5E..full boost (2.0bar when tested) was at 5000rpm or thereabouts. i cant tell exactly when as i wasnt really paying attention..the car rev's up in a flash..so i needed to keep my eyes on road..but we are hoping to dump back in our demo car for more 5e testing..so i should have some definite information up for you guys soon.

unbelievable that is pure porn and if the spooling is as good as you say sacha then this could be the kit to beat for a very long time cannot wait for graphs as i think this would be the kit to go for when i come to get one very soon ...:rockon:

dont expect great spool up from a stock set up guys (well despite that its spooling quicker than its smaller bro gt2876r)..this turbo is not intended for that. the turbo was spec'd up for those are going to take every engine aspect to the next level. as many as said before...head work/compression/tuning will all play a big factor. we also reccomend you shift at 8000rpm to give this set up a healthy power band.
