Phantom wire

Hi guys, first time posting. I'm building a glanza atm on a budget, bought as a rolling shell done loads to it.
Built the engine, got looks wired it all up and got it running but I have a random wire in the engine bay really long too. I know it's not oil pressure wire, or knock sensor wire. But it is one single wire, and it's been added onto original so not sure of the original colour.
Any ideas on things that use one wire?

I know it's not great, but this is the wire, really long too and it splices just over the gearbox

Yea that's part of the loom Bud, it runs to that sensor on the front of the block.
Can't remember what that sensor is for tho lol :)

I thought it was the oil pressure light but when I connect it to the oil pressure the lights on constant, but runs fine. I tried continuity from the wire to oil pressure pin on the cluster and it's open circuit on this wire

I checked continuity back to the cluster and the oil pressure wire I have already connected is the right one. But checked continuity on this random wire and it doesnt go to the clust nor the ecu

Oxygen sensor is a single wire/pin

you may need to take a picture of the two pin connector and may be someone can identify it for you

and the oxygen sensor wire usually has a gray connector on it....which connects to a gray single wire connector coming from the harness.

is it possible that the gray connector/covering was removed or damaged?

It's possible that the connector was taken off. I will send you a pic of the 2 pin connector now ...
