Would check the turbo aswell, a bit of metal through the vins won't do it any good. If it went through the wastegate it should be good.

Yes I’ve priced with Toyota £650 quid for a set

Just an update for anyone who might run into the same issue. The cheapest I could find a set of intake and exhaust valves and stem seals (OEM) was £489.35 imported from Japan through Torque GT. . Shame as they will take about a month to get here and I was all ready to go up for a track day.
