Problem i cant get to the bottom off.. collective thinking needed lol

OK i have a few updates:

1.) added a new earth from body to E1 on ecu.. (lambda now is being read correctly :D)
2.) removed oem fpr & added a brand new sard fpr
3.) changed IAT (thanks to darren burwash for supplying me one :))
4.) changed Lambda sensor (thanks to the legend Jay for supplying me one :))

& i connected the narrowband to the OX on the ecu so id make sure its getting a reading.. which now it is.. ie a perfect reading!!

car is a bit better, but still leaning out waaaaaaaaa :shoot:
for a laugh i gave it 3.5bar fuel pressure on the 324cc injectors & 7m pump & the damn thing STILL LEANED OUT?!?!?!?! how the fuck is that even possible lol.. the oem ecu is in no way able to do that.. they would have been close to 400cc's at that pressure ... anyways..

what did change is that the car is running much smoother on boost & when car is still cold choke is working.. its only when the water temp guage gets half way that it screws up... so maybe even though i checked & changed the sensor maybe there is a fault somewhere in that circuit.. but no error codes lol.. will see if i leave it running for a few days perhaps the ecu needs time to get itself together (im hoping lol) ..

will keep u all updated, but this is turning out to be one big fucking headache lol...

as i'm reading this, check your cold start vacum circuit.
the one who lets your engine idle higher revs when cold, this circuit works on a very basic principal, but need a good vacum.
it controles a bypass system before your trottle valve
maybe when is closes(warm engine) it creates a leak or so.

hmmm will have to check that also..

after i did all the above, it helped improve the car alot..

now i was checking out the water temp sensor (under the dizzy) i dont know how i didnt notice it before lol.. but the wires going into the clip where almost like 2mm out of the clip.. they where not touching but the electrical field could have been enough to cause a short.. i twisted the loom in a way that the wires are far apart & about 80% of my problem has gone lol.. the ecu is still reading & "learning" so to speak, but it feels much better... still leans out at certain points, but thats only till the lambda starts working..

Iv solved ALOT of problems which have come along cause of age.. thanks to all your input.. im not saying its 100% resolved as i need a new oem ecu for sure as this one isnt working very well.. but its come a long way since page 1 of this thread lol..

many thanks to all you guys that helped me out!
will update this thread after a few days with a final result (hopefully) & will see how everything goes..

my clip to the water temp sensor wasnt connected right on tuning the Emu aswell , which further worsensed , on contrast , my rich status heh !
(speaking of which i got the adapter now lol )

Then again what shargath mentioned aswell , leaning out on startup , only when the car is real cold , plus hunting rpm up and down , will check the cold start vacuum setup too !

all the best mate :D

Good to hear buddy :D

yeah i got to check the cold start vacums as well lol.. but what i think ill do is just change every vacum in the engine bay to be sure lol.. will see eh...

so this morning things went to shit again & this bitch started leaning out again now even when warm lol.. (thsi of course is off boost on boost shes fine)so this afternoon i had a look at the oem wireing diagram & found that E1 is just the earth supply for the ecu, for the intake temp sensor for e01 & e02, even though they have additional points.. now E2 only gets its earth signal from E1 through the ecu itself & from the water temp sensor.. E2 starts off at the ecu & is connected to he Map sensor, the TPS & the water temp sensor.. nice eh?! lol now since the wires on that water temp clip have seen better days i decieded to connect the earth i dragged in from the engine to E1 & spliced it into E2 as well.. now im off to my mate's house a few kms away ( i really mean a few lol.. something like a 10min drive lol) & ill see how it goes.. i hope this sorts shit out as im really bored of this now lol..
