Hi everyone,

when i change the pipes over on the boost solenoid so its running high boost in all gears, some times it jolts for about half a second and then starts boosting fine.

Is that what i hear is called fuel cut?

If it is, i dont get why its doing it because fitted to the car is a HKS FCD, unless thats not what they are meant for

Im still abit new to the Jap scene so some of the stuff is still new to me and having trouble finding solutions/ guides on here about it.

Any help would be good.

its the FCD thats doing it... a FCD doesnt solve fueling, it only tricks the ECU into thinking that its not hitting fuel cut... FCD's are killers to these engines if not used properly.. ive 5 4efte's here out the back, all blowen to pieces by FCD's... "FCD+FPR and get the fueling sorted on a rolling road, they do "NOT" work on their own" take it out man or set it to 12 (off) until you can set it up properly...

How do you take it out because I think it's connected to the wire harness behind the glove box and I don't want to damage anything if I do.

Or how would I set it to 12? As I'm not sure how these things work at all
