Removing old paint

Is there an easier way to strip off old paint than snading? im tryng to sand my strut brace down and it is taking FOREVER!

wire brush on a grinder man or something similar, the only job

By far the easiest way. Soak it in paint stripper, go make a cup of tea and then come back and wash it off with a hose.

White spirits would be fine? or do i need something different?

Just get some nitromors. 10 minutes and it will be bare metal. Just remember to rinse it off well.

thats what i used, top stuff. wash off with water. wipe over with a spirit wipe, rough up with a bit of emery cloth and you should be ready to go.

sand blaster if you have a compressor you can use if not as above paint stripper and if it really thick score the paint before applying it

for like 5euro you can get wire bruse heads bits to put into a brill, savage job :rockon:
