Rev gauge jumping

Finally got the 4efte conversion done on my E11 corolla. Can anyone shed some light on why my rev gauge would be idling all over the shop

Bad connection or earth somewhere probably Bud

Could also have a vacuum leak, what way is it behaving?

Thinking electrical as when it idles engine sound is spot on not hunting etc but the needle on the rev gauge is hopping around.

In that case it sounds more electrical than mechanical.

Well lads this is still haunting us. Can't figure it out... as mentioned above it's more electrical as the car ticks over fine..does anyone know which wire coming from the dizzy to ecu and pin number etc? Glanza ecu in use

The Corolla had a coil type setup the GT engine is dizzy

Ran single wires back to the clocks from the connection in the diagnostic box and from the dizzy and rev gauge still bounces around .
Does the resistor have to be changed in my Corolla clocks?

Thinking a resistor would have to be changed in back of the clocks.. anyone know which one etc?
