What loom did you change? The rev counter signal is a black wire with a silver bar on it, it goes from the ignitor to the diagnostic plug (IG-) then into the cabin, to the dash.

when i fitted rev counter clocks to my ep85 that didnt come with them i just took the rpm wire from the wiring that plugs into the internal fusebox and ran it up to the clocks as i couldnt find the wire at the clock end and didnt feel like unwrapping the loom to find it. im sure it was a white wire though!!!?

Its a screened wire, think its white on the inside but has the black and silver bar outer.

How does it get from the diagnostic plug to the back of the clocks 2 different looms!

How does the temp gauge wire get there? Is this a GT or Glanza? GT has one main entrance into the cabin, engine bay loom meets up with cabin loom at a 20 pin plug (from memory), its taped up along with the ecu engine control plug. That plug splits up in the cabin loom, there are a few wires that run from the engine bay fuse box to cluster area, including the ignition barrel wires. Glanza has 2 entry points into the cabin, but there are still wires that go from the engine bay to the cluster and around that area.

There are some minor differences in GT looms over the later years of the model, but they lead to more problems than the rev counter not working.
