well lads where does the ecu gets its rpm signal from pin 21 (26)conector where does it go keeps poping up evrytime i pass 1800 rpm (starlet gt)

here we go again . the wire from pin 21 on the ecu (its the rpm signal) where is it going to (where is the rpm sensor) ???

It goes to the ignitor plug, pin 4 of the plug numbered 55 in this link.

Hi guys I swapped a 4EFE with electronic ignition (with a 4EFTE (automatic tranny from a Starlet Glanza V) in a 1998Corolla E12 bug eye I am tryimg to make the RPM tachometer work. The FTE ECU doesn’t have RPM signal because it’s a different system that works with the coil ignition. I need help! Thanks
