I had tons when I was young, every Xmas was the biggest set out at the time lol, then my grandparents where always buying me cars and accessories lol.
Only sold it all about 18 years ago, wish I had have put the cars away, over 50 from memory nearly all touring cars.

That's extension packs 1+2. No3 is allready incorporated into the track(sideswipe hairpin chicane)the jumps look fun and it's powered right up the ramp, should be fun for the rally cars. The 2 scoobys are drift cars :) the Data post Metro is a proper 80s throwback and in excellent condition, even has the mirrors still lol. Made in Britain too before everything got farmed out to Chy-Na :) nothing wrong with the Chinese stuff at all, excellent quality.
Also got the 80s Mighty Metro set with 2X 6R4 Metros in mint condition, mirrors havnt even been took out of the packaging :)

the cars look like a good and varied collection,,plenty of fun times ahead for you
though this one may give you some trouble to get MOT and insured with that wheel :D
Might go for a set off Toyos lmfao :)
I've a load of tyres and pick up braids to order lol, just need a minute to workout what all i need. Cheap enough tho and the tyres last years from memory. Will get new Drift and Grip tyres for the Drift cars and weights and magnets see can I make them all rounders lol

Yet to be tested, long as the cars work I be happy, the track can go in the roofspace with the rest of the classic sets :) if you notice the transformer on this you have to screw the controller onto it then plug it into the track, it's low voltage 16V but imagine what the H&S folk would say about it now lol.
Not taking anymore track unless it's a classic set I fancy putting away, but cars, trucks etc always welcome :)
Thinking about wall mounting and track weight now, I have the proper Scalextric side track clips to secure it but keep reading that Scalextric don't recommend it because of track expansion/contraction due to heat and cold......hmmmm
When my Dad did the fold down track in my bedroom many many many moons ago he just used carpet tacks lol, worked well but didn't look great. Thinking about a mechanism now that will drop and raise it on the board from the garage ceiling if the track won't sit tight on its side, I've been thinking about it lots and have thought up various ways to secure it down solid.

Well that's the layout finalised lol, 10X6 foot :) have some more half straight bits so I will add them on to the hairpin straight and raise that over the other track and the flyover section flat. That should allow me to run the lorrys without smashing into the track lol.

I really didn't plan on the new set, I've enough track lool, got it for a bargain tho and less than it would have cost me to buy the cars :)
Might just put it away until demand goes up then flip it.

That's nearly all the track used lol, still another 2 straights left tho.
There are more cars in the garage.......
I've had the 2 trucks and can't remember the two cars, me and my brother used to have it going from the bedroom to the hall and used to put trailers on the trucks. Recently cleared out my dads attic and came across them didn't realise how much tracks we had. my eldest brother took them and my son was devastated so bought his own, hours off fun with them
