side repeaters

i was away to start wiring up a fog light and side repeaters on my glanza for its first mot and have noticed alot of turbos forsale mot'd and registered with still no side repeaters fitted???
could someone shed some light on this for me please as i dont want to start drilling holes in wings if i dont have to thanks.

Yes they are.

Starlets get away with not having them because the indicators wrap around the wing, plus the bulge in the centre of them ensures that the indicators can be see from all angles, be it the front or the rear one. More information can be read Here.
