something interesting and concerning about the stock intercooler

Using one of these sensors I would mention If your pcv valve is not fully closing or when idleing hot fumes can hit the sensor and the ecu reacts straight away unlike the stock sensor. It responds better when you move from idle providing your pcv valve is closing properly.

good point but i don't know how badly it will effect the sensor. yes crank case gases are hot and with a functioning PCV it will only allow gases in when off boost, and going from my Power fc commander i typically sit around 20 degree's it only increases on boost like i'd expect.

So if the PCV was to have a big effect i'd expect to see idle temperatures and cruise being alot higher than few degrees higher than ambient

Tim :)
