Spacing turbo>intercooler

What would be the best thing to make a gasket to space the turbo>intercooler pipe out?

The oem thin one doesn't space the hot pipe out enough to clear the power steering pump/adjuster

CT9 fitment > Custom short pipe

Needs to be 3mm at most, maybe cork?

you can get 3mm gasket material mate. can you not just modify the custom pipe a bit? cork would do, bit i wouldnt use it.

the stuff we have at work is good for water and steam lines. its like a high density fibre stuff. similar to normal gaskets

try you local motor factors, motorist discount center ect ect, you can get 30cm by 30 cm of gasket sheet (the type the gaskets are made out of on ebay) for around £6 and cut your own out, i did it and save my self loads of money
