Speed restriction

Hey guys i read on the old boards that the Glanza V EP91 has a speed restriction of 112mph ???? Basicly my car is off the road STILL so im getting all the parts and other bits i want ready for my rebuild.

Do i need one of the HKS speed defender things so i can go past 112 ?

i heard that if you get an electronic speedo conversion then it restricts it to 180mph not km

well all i know is my KMH sign on the clocks has been tipexed out and it now measures in MPH shall i just get the HKS SCT anyways ?

Yup, a speedo conversion will simply change the units from kph to mph, so the kph restriction of 180 simply becomes 180mph - so theres no 112 restriction. Thats what was done to mine, and I have no restriction. :quadgt:

If it measues in MPH its had the speedo converted. try getting up past 112, i bet you can do it. (private road ofcourse!)

I bet i cant the car only running on 3 pots lol and drives like a bag of crap and with white smoke worse than a steam engined train lol

LOL i will mate im just waiting for my saxo VTS to sell then ordering 1.2mm head gasket cambet some forgies and new ARP bolts
