Having some probs sorting the steering on my 4E'd Sera. I got the correct reservoir-pump pipe this week, but the steering is still a bit stiff, particularly when turning sharply.
Now at the moment I have a 1080mm PS (and A/C) belt on (original Sera one), but even at the top of the adjuster arm I can still turn it 180degrees on the straight part.
As far as I know the Starlet belt is also 1080mm so I wonder why its still so loose. Can they stretch over time?
Anyway more to the point, if I get a shorter belt that will allow me to adjust the p/s pump down a couple of cm, will this help the gravitry feed from the reservoir and improve the performance of the steering?
