Strange Noise in Cabin on Boost?

Evening Guys,

Bit of a weird one to say the least.
I have had a strange noise coming from inside my GT (drivers side dash) on boost, ever since my engine was rebuilt.
It literally sounds like a deflating baloon on boost lol.

Initially I thought it was leak from the vac hose, going to my boost gauge as that's where the noise seems to be coming from. Also when I drove the car in shorts, I could feel air on my legs on boost.

I replaced the cheap vac hose with a proper braided hose last weekend, but still making the Krusty the Clown noise, annoyingly.
Car runs like a champ otherwise, pulls strong with normal afrs.

Any ideas what it may be?

Thanks

A video might be in order here.

Can anyone else remember the first batch of Gizmo boost controllers that farted on boost?

I'll try and get my helmet cam, rigged up in the car at some point this week man  . Really strange. As always its the small annoying issues that take a minute to suss out.

Strange one bud the pipe in mine is ran through the bulkhead where the speedo cable is then runs behind the clocks to the air vent.
Maybe your guage is leaking ?

Pretty much the same route as mine man. I assume the gauge could only leak from the outlet that attaches to the vac hose?

Never had one apart yet to see bud, blank it off in the bay or take it out and put pressure too it see what happens.

Managed to take a couple of vids yesterday evening lads. I was having a chat with my mechanic earlier, and he said he thinks its my gauge thats at fault (plastic pressure plate inside the gauge that can crack and force air out similar to a pinched balloon lol )

Wer you flying lolz.
Block the boost gauge pipe for another test run...

LOL. ..its embarrassing man! I'm onnit. Mechanic told me to do that also...remove the vac hose and block off the back of the gauge.
I've actually got an unused autometer gauge laying around somewhere, so maybe an excuse to fit it now.
