suspension set up

how do you set up after market suspension properly for your car, how do you work out if enough stroke, bound & rebound etc etc ... ie. cusco height & damper adjustable

was thinking that to but most places wont set them up here in ireland for liabilty issues and the one's that will charge a fortune

Tbh mate, i think thats your best bet, as no doubt the tracking, camber, alignment wil be all over the place

Adjust your ride height first... that is pretty simple.
Or if you are happy with how the car sit now, then that is done.

Take it to a garage... they don't need to touch the damping.
They can adjust the camber and toe like any other car... no difference weather it is on coilovers or not.

Then after that... drive a piece of road that you know... and adjust the damping until you are comfortable and confident with the handling.

That is all there is to it... don't need to pay any more or make anything more complicated than necessary. :)
 
Sorry for stealing the thread but what about when you get a car corner weighted, do you set up the geometry first and then get it corner weighted or do you get it corner weighted first and then set up the geometry

ideally you want the geometry roughly correct (to the point where its driveable i would say). then get the corner weights done and then get it all fully aligned.
