Currently have a Subaru TD04L fitted on my 4EFTE and planning to swap it with a Subaru TF035HM, will this be a direct swap? Oil Line/water line/Exhaust?

My brother, who has a WickedEP TD04L said he preferred the driveability of my CT9. I think the TF035HM has a lower boost threshold and is a good compromise between CT9 and TD04L. But people say modern hybridised TD04Ls have come a long way + other tuning management to alleviate this.

Either way, the way I see it these days, these cars are getting harder and harder to keep going and the less stress on the engine the better IMO. Modern cars are so fast nowadays that the days of these being that competitive are dwindling.

Now, for me at least. it's more about the retro vibes, well I haven't seen mine in 5+ years.

I'm really disappointed in my wepr hybrid td04. I prefer a stock td04. Earlier boost and not much lost up the top end.
Smaller turbo all day long on the road imo

i agree with your brother, my car is a daily i enjoy very much while i was on standard ct9b i can hear the bov even just parking hahaha. after i switched to td04l its a downward spiral thoughts on selling the car and shit buying stuff that can improve still not satisfied with the day to day drivability.

This is my last string if still not happy with tf035hm will either sell the the car of put it back to stock

I was able to keep up with a td04 glanza in the GT ct9 with very little mods because of the lag of the td04 :)
I'm expecting the power band to shift 3/400 rpm
The Caldina power band moved 500 rpm with the ct26 hybrid, it's acceptable but harder to get a good powerslide going pulling out of junctions, a manual conversation would sort that tho lol
Fuck knows why Toyota mated the legendary 3sgte to an autobox lol
