Tein lowering springs

Just wondered if the green tein lowering springs widely advertised for glanzas will fit gt as well . Mine is 1995 gt turbo . All adverts I see seem to only quote fit glanzas .
I have one broken spring and thinking of replacing all of them . It looks like tein ones on the car already and I like the handling / height so hoping same make available .
Cheers

See can you see a part number on them ?
The whole units are interchangeable but not sure about just springs, knowing Toyota probably have different seat size or something random lol

Ring id works see what they can do, they where the cheapest about for my Caldina coilovers and customer service is excellent :)

Thanks Skiny . Can’t see the part number - too much rust / paint flaking but looks like ID works website says they fit all gt / glanza 1990 -1999 and also non turbo so will probably just go for them - demon tweets currently the cheapest by around £30 . Cheers

not tein specific information,,,, but i've interchanged TRD lowering springs between the glanza and GT in the past --- same fitment

now the question may arise as to if the final lowering/sitting position may be affected, as the glanza is a tad bit heavier than the GT---i'm not sure if they have different spring rates for each model

Thanks Gorgan .
Demon Tweeks have advised that the glanza ones won’t fit the gt . Teins own website also limits the fitment to glanzas
I wonder what other options there are since don’t want to get the glanza ones to find they don’t fit since they probably won’t take returns . Anyone got any supplier of different makes for the GT ?

I am almost certain they fit all OEM style starlet shock absorbers and top mounts.

But its been about 12 years since I had lowering springs!

ID Works do list them on ebay to fit GT and Glanzas so best to contact them.

There's a difference in top mounts between the EP82 and EP91 which explains why manufacturers have an issue with supplying for the wrong vehicle. From memory it's the front shock shafts that are a different diameter so if you try to use EP91 shocks with EP82 top mounts they don't fit.

Springs should be safe enough as they should fit both type of top mount.

Thanks Jay . That makes sense . Awaiting a reply from ID workz but if he doesn’t respond will try the tein ones and report back .

i can attest to this as i've experienced it ...the front shock top mounts are not interchangeable between the ep91 and ep82...however the springs are as i indicated earlier with the TRDs i had.

on a side note, the rear top mounts are different as well between the ep91 and ep82, but, they fit the rear shocks all the same
however, you have to use both the ep91 or the ep82 rear tops mounts together (as a pair)...it would not be advisable to mismatch them
