I did hear on the day that CRX was turbo'd, thought he was fairly nippy when i was out with it in the first 2 red sessions! Mind you, even NA CRX are damn handy around a track!

I havent seen my car in any vids yet either :( will have to keep searching. And get myself a camera!!

Hi All..!....

Sorry for a somewhat late reply to the Llandow event & a little introduction to you all!.

Two undercover Twin brother's just passing through the forum!, and just like'd to say a couple of things:

It was Great to meet many of you all at the Llandow Track Day and see some other cars + have a ride in a few which was fantastic!..:),

There aren't many forums that achieve such a happy & relaxed atmosphere and get on so well at all!, especially at a track day!.....WELL DONE TGTT!!!

Cant wait for the next Outing!

.............A MASSIVE THANKS TO ALL for making it a GREAT Day!!!!....................

AND, ............. A BIG THANKS to Ian ! (Dub-Se7en) ........

For introducing us to the starlet scene in the first place!....

Its been an adventure working with Ian to develop his starlet, he always manages to pull something from under his sleeve to add to it,& making it push the limits a little further!...
The starlet's a challanging car to work with which makes it so unique, esspecially fabricating parts & mods for it that are simple yet effective.

We have to mention a BIG Thanks to Sam who organised it and even witnessed Ians starlet in the begining of the conversion.

This is a Great Picture!.......Thanks!....

Thats a good username for him, his fabricating skills are excellent. That intercooler and cold air feed pipe were professionally produced quality. Even the bracket they had modified to hold the fuel filter out from the strut for easy access was nice.

Chris ended up talking to the twins most of the day, he is as technical as they come and was really impressed with their experience. Dubs car says a lot but I would love a closer look at the Cossie they have.

Nah i have a feeling monkfish was first out!!

It went ok, the suspension is way too soft tho - tein superstreet, only 3kg front so i am ordering some 7kg for the front and 5 for the rear for track days!

Am getting her dyno'd this sat to see if its underpower still! Last time i was dyno at 11ish psi it was 125bhp!!! LOL. Now i have the ext wastegate CT9 manifold on and FMIC at 11psi. I not expecting over 140bhp tbh as its done 142k miles!! haha

Yeah - i can imagine you get a bit of attention from the ol bill for ya plate! :haha:

Your right, i forgot about Mr monkfish.

Im running 4kg front and rear on my Tein Type Flex, and ill to be ordering a set of track springs asap.
Im sure Elaine was saying somthing to me about an under powered GT, must have been yours she was on about!
142k miles, its just run in!! :p

Will see how it handles Knockhill this weekend.

Yeah probably mine! LOL.

At last dyno i had stock manifold, tmic, HKS actuator, decat and it made 125bhp showing about 11psi..... Not good!!

Thing is there 3 possibles -

1) engine is tired (altho from 70 miles of thrashed track time it used almost no oil!)

2) The boost tailed off quite a bit so maybe faulty actuator (bought it 2nd hand)

3) It was running pretty rich! Oh and the manifold was cracking again after i welded the big crack up!

So sat will give me an insight of what the score is!! Hopefully it holds boost nicely now being controlled by the tial and see how she goes, then decide whether to map to 1bar....

Ah right yeah thats still pretty soft too! I will be measuring the springs on mine this weekend. I think they are £70 for 2 from tein or 90 for race springs. Not sure on the difference!

Cracked manifold will make one hell of a difference. When I first bought The Bitch and had her on the rollers, she pulled 142bhp or so. After some faffing about a finally getting a boost gauge fitted I discovered that she'd only hold about 0.6 bar instead of 1.0. A new manifold to replace the fucked one cured that and a later trip to the rollers saw her bang out 179.2bhp. The little things add up. ;)
