well i think its pretty simple, get in contact with toby or somebody that sells emu's & ill bet u anything they will sell like hell man! its basically a solution to a feature that cant be used without this chip.. so its like gold man!

i am confused to what the issue is
when my car was 1300 CT9 i put in the ultimate and instead of hooking up the TPS i sent the Map sensor signal to the TPS input of the ultimate as our TPS really doesn't do much, went into IGN settings and set it up pretty much the same as HYBRID posted earlier and I had launch control
recently reinstalled an ultimate in my 1500 td05, did the same thing and had launch control, what is this circuit that you guys are speaking about?

the toyota doesn't like a misfire for more than 2 cycles so i dont see how it could work, but could be wrong,
ps. got the wire and bullet connectors today just waiting on other parts, is there only two people looking them~?

strange thing is....i know fur is right about it being easy to set up............but i just never knew how the "tuners" did it over here

to be honest i never gave much thought to the issue. i am running an auto 95 gt ecu with the emanage ultimate. and my car goes on launch control once i flat my foot and the vehicle isn't getting a speed single. it revs to 5000 rpm and holds it and retards timing 8 degrees building about 8-10 psi, not to mention the pretty colour flames
once i dump the clutch and the car detects a speed signal it goes to normal operation and revs out. it worked the same exact way on hoody's (bajan chameleon) car when he showed me it a few years back. perhaps other toyota ecu's may have a problem with it but the one in my gt is fine. i am doing some work on the car now, once i get a chance i will try to upload a vid of it working

actually after studying it i think i know what the issue is, will have to check the laptop to confirm, but initially my car wasn't holding the RPM just hit it and falling off to almost cutting out really slow. you have to go into vehicle setup and whereas when u select 4efte as the engine it automatically sets the IGN type to RPM Signal, you need to change this to IGNITION. i believe that sorted out the problem of the missing cycles with the launch control. give it a try because for sure it works on my car with no secondary board or wiring.

i new it is simple,,,but i avoid the electronic side of things with my car....but did see it on hoody's and i knew some1 else who was very capable of doing it....and as u said...no box/circuit needed
i hope it works out for the members on here....as they have been trying for a LONG while now

fuck me that was so stupid of me to overlook lol.. the emu can take a speed signal off the crank angle & igniton signal, so it would know where the rpm is without it needing the vss.. if this works ill kiss u tomorrow lol... (well long distance kiss really hehe )

i did exactly what fur suggested & i set the igniton to read as it should, set the cut off at 4000 rpms & gave it 8 deg retard
its fantastic i leave the line with 4 psi & HAVE LAUNCH CONROL
fur if i could id give u all the rep in the world but im only allowed one at a time lol!!
