got it all fitted. had a problem with the inj adapter. it was fueling into the 10s and then i removed the adapter and reinstaled it and worked fine.. fueled 14s so im well happy with that now :)

some probs i found... timing is off the mark waaayyyyy toomuch! 147 etc lol! wtf! any tips on how to tune... ?

shit so i need to re wire knock and water temp. followed the wireing you posted and there was "water temp not used"

for some reason yest i went for a drive and its fueling into the 12s idle and cruse... :S all settings on the emu are set to ZERO

Hi all, still trying to get launch controll to fully work. Works now again and i'v done what ccm has mentioned to get the % at around 50 but still wont work. any other suggestions on ep82 ?

Lads quick I got an emu years ago with some kind of harness not sure what one and field harness. I'm been told by a tuner I need the ignition harness but I thought this would have been in the harness I got with it years ago? I have now bought a harness kit and starting to think its the same one any ideas lol? I'm not near the car its away.

you only need that lol... the EMB needs an extra ignition harness

But when I was buying the emu at the time some were saying I needed the ignition or was it injector harness and others were saying I did'nt need them so I did'nt bother buying them Nick Jones was selling different harnesses separate I think? Confused at this stage lol.

Anyone have any info I'm just thinking I have everything I need already wired into the field harness by Chris and I'm after wasting money on something I dont need lol.

Corey it depends on the version of EMU you have, to weither you need the injector harness 2 . Later than version D if I remember correctly.

its not the INJECTOR HARNESS its INJECTOR ADAPTER #2, you would need that from version D below if im not mistaken... its to clean the signal or something like that or else it will run rich, i had to buy it. you are lucky as there is one on ebay going cheap! and the adapter #2 isnt that easy to find anymore. here is the link mate. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GRED...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Got a strange thing going on since i plugged the emanage in. if you have your foot on about 30% throttle when its boosting and accelerating but not flat out it feels like it hunts, ie feels like it holds back then goes, holds back then goes in about 2 sec intervals. The fueling seems ok on the wideband and it is pretty steady and the boost seems to be holding fairly steady.

this is on an ep82 with no map on bar the boost cut changed to 4.10 it's just plugged in. I have got the wideband hooked up to it aswell but a/f autotune isn't doing anything.

not to worry, turned out it was my boost controller. actully went to a straight road and look and could see the boost rising and falling.
