quick question.

does some of you use emanage to activate 5EFHE intake manifoild acoustic system ?
I'm wondering if I should go NVCS or extra injector map to activate that feature . anyone could bring me the light ?
 
yeah he did it...but he also modified it a little later on to simplify the process....iirc he removed one of the VSVs

to me its just a bit easier to combine both these methods into one solution....they are very similar methods anyways
i'm not a fan of tapping into the brake vacuum cannister....i like hoodey's idea of using a seperate vacuum cannister

yet i like the 2nd option which uses a one way check valve to replace a VSV solenoid and additional map----which i think hoodey eventually did

I am just starting to get my new setup going from stock 4efte to now with a TD04HL-19T, Speedvision manifold, supra 440cc injectors, and Emanage Blue. I am using an AEM Uego wideband air/fuel ratio gauge to tune with. But i am just street tuning as i don't seem to have a way to connect the wideband to the Emanage. I also have a Greddy 3bar map sensor installed.
My questions are:
With a 3 wire TPS with no varying voltage, does this render my Airflow Adjustment table useless?
What is the Anti Engine Stall table for?
What is the best base timing to set my car up for? factory 10degrees BTDC??
Does anybody care to share a MAP from a similar setup?
How should i setup my Ignition Timing tables?
What fuel pressure should i go with on idle?

My car is running super rich right now at idle, and i have played around with it a bit driving and can get somewhat of a decent WOT A/F ratio, but I still have a long way to go. The more information i can obtain through seasoned vets here the quicker i can get this car ripping up the roads again.

1/ about the TPS , it does render the Airflow Adj unseless, because you can tune it by pressure meanwhile tps is not connected
2/Anti engine stall if for 2 things
a)big cams with idle problem
b)for them who run maf and idle dies sometimes
3/base factory is 10btc , in my island best result is between 12-14
4/share a map ?are you on a EMU ?
5/depends on your fuel quality , pressure ,etc
6/myself with stock pressure

Sorry for the double post.

We have this challenge, and appreciate if someone can give a hint on what other things I need to check in-order for an EMU to work on a 4efte engine having MSD Blaster SS. Its been 2 nights that have no luck. It seems that the IGT is dead while IGT In(Pin5)-Out(Pin12) goes in and out on EMU.
Bypassing this Pin(ECU Pin6 ECU to IGT) will give an engine a good ignition start

Jumper7 is set to normal and Jumper8 set to 5v.
(EMU version C)

A quick update, found out Ignition Input Ch1 is not responding, tried Ch2 and the engine start, but having Flashing Red light since Input channel is 2 but only 1 Signal Input coming in, appreciate any recommendation on how to make the unit works with busted CH1.

u need to get an alternate 5v signal say from the map sensor & connect it to a switch, that way when u want to use launch u just flip the switch to send a constant 5v signal :D thats the only way i know of on an ep82.. its kinda annoying, but untill i have an ep82 to play with then i have no idea apart from this one..

thanks dylan for the room, it would be awesome, perhaps a sub section to the ecu section in the technical forum? (just an idea lol)..

at niv18 as for the ignition problem use the distributor diagram & yes its t1.. make sure that u have the jumper for the ignition frequency set to 5v, coz if the emu that u have bought was for some reason set for a honda it will be set for 12v igntion which would give many problems..

Where can I find the Distributor Diagram and what is t1?
I have this ignition problem on my EMU, seems when I short the ignition directly I can ignite by when goes to EMU(Pin5, Pin12) I can't ignite.

Appreciate the info.

Hi guys, I know this is old, but I have a 4efte EP82, and I connect the pin #17 ( PSW ) to the TPS wire on the EMU, And I can use the launch control ;)
Just If someone need it...

ep82 harness wiring + jumpers settings

ep91 harness wiring + jumper settings

what it is required to operate the launch control on a ep82

what it is required to operate the launch control on a ep91

how to wire up and configure the injector harness on both ep82 and ep91
