Really hard to find. I've never seen one in the metal unfortunately.

Testing the memory banks but there was an Australian member with one years back and I think there was one brought into the US a while ago too.

The only answer to that is hidden in Toyota Japan's records somewhere.

As for surviving ones there probably aren't many. The two-tone Mk1's were made between Dec 89 and Dec 91 which makes them 29 years old at least. Man I feel old!

There was a bit of data discussed in this thread (How many Stars? | Toyota GT Turbo ) if it's of any interest.

Sounds like you have landed yourself a slice of proper classic Starlet. Please share a few pics when it lands, would love to see another GT on the forum :)

Yes , I will upload pictures for sure when will arrive.
I had owned a glanza v (with recaro interior ) and it was my first car and i sold it 10 years ago and i still regret it ,I changed a lot of cars in 10 years with much bigger engines but still missed the pocket rocket so i went for the gt turbo this timeScreenshot_20210228-190056_Facebook.jpg
This the one that I had owned

That looks well bud, yea it's hard to beat the feeling of a turbo starlet, it's so raw compared to modern stuff. Very satisfying on the narrow lanes :)

Hello :), i am one of the few owners of one of these in australia :) Unfortunately one with a sad history i intend to document soon
( previous owner's plate and those before it was "MG10AD" )

EP82 1990 Starlet GT turbo 1.3,
When i got it, it had
4/10 condition for the wiring under the dash and the steering wheel
7/10 exterior.
and 0 rust.

Currently 9/10 Condition for wiring
8.5/10 for exterior condition
still 0 zero rust.

The only reason I remember the Australian one was there was a 'Dirtiest Starlet' competition run for fun and it looked like he'd been in a rally

Can't be 100% but I think MWP was his username on here, South Adelaide area?

Hope that helps,

Jay
