Thermostat to turbo water pipe size

Hi all I’m having my TD04 water pipes made up by a friend. What I need to know is what size do the pipes need to be from the thermostat housing to the turbo. Id like to know the inner diameter please thanks in advance nick.

i would estimate it at about 8mm int. dia. but don't hold me to it..
if you won't have a response from someone who can verify thisby the time i'm home, then i'll whip out a spare i have and measure for you, deal..?

oem turbo coolant pipe diameter

here you go mate:
internal dia. = 10mm
external dia. = 14mm

remember these are 14+ year old pipes so perhaps you may want to go 0.5 or 1mm smaller on the int. dia. for that snug fit..

thanks for the rep akyakapotter, but just helping out where i can..
remember to use some fresh clamps too so that they bite well and prevent leaks..
