Thread size Help please

Can anyone help with the thread size of the sender in the pic? I think its a taper thread.

dont quote me on it but from memory it may be 3/8 NPT and it will be a tapper thread.

that particular sensor is your thermo time switch and turns the electric fan on and off when needed.
