Time to leave the fold maybe?

I'll most probably leave it on the car man. Its been dialled in and had the geo setup with my coilovers and panhard rod.
I did think to sell the coilovers and other suspension bits separately, but again its the hassle of finding oem parts to replace them with to sell the car.
Jay can get the cusco panhard rods if you wanted one though

Hi guys,

After being in the starlet scene for 15 years, I'm seriously considering selling my TD04 GT for a newer project car.... 2005 Seat Leon Cupra R.
I've loved every minute of owning and working on my starlets over the years, however, part of me feels that its time for something bigger, newer and more comfier..... I must be getting old lol.

With that being said, I know how addictive our little jap mobiles can be. I see people all the time sell up, only to return and get another one months/years down the line.

Can anyone share their experience of selling their Starlet or Glanza? What did you get next? Any regrets selling?.

Thanks for any info.

OLD... well av been in that boat lolz.
Age driving car never to old.
We are classic car drivers (old is gold) :p

By the way your defo lot younger than me.

At the end off the day a car is a car. You are never to Old for a starlet. I got my first starlet 1ltr at 17 as my first car and I am 36 still driving a starlet turbo. ( I have a 151 rav4 family car too) lads always think the grass is green in other places but most come back are say they shouldn't have sold up. Think good and hard before selling as the gts are coming hard to get thos days.

LOL... I was only joking about the being old comment. Love my GT, don't get me wrong, and its buzz to drive, but I've just kind of lost my mojo for it tbh. I had a similar experience with the last one I had, and I sold it to get an ek9.
I was then lucky enough to have my current GT passed down to me by my older Bro. If he didn't give it to me, I doubt I would have got another one tbh. Think I would have bought another civic (ready for the traitor insults haha)

Will do man. I've had friends, family and even my MOT tester a few weeks back telling me not to sell up. But part of me really wants to get stuck in to a new project. I could actually keep the GT and get something else, but having 3 cars is a bit OTT for me at the moment.
And Leon's are dung

hahaha. I've not driven one yet, so may totally hate them. But see what happens.

I haven't driven a gt turbo since my last one which would be 8 years in around and I had it mattygt gt advance for 2 days and the second I got into it I never stopped smiling from ear to ear and running manifold decat and exhaust so 145bhp or so and to me was amazing .

I was loosing intrest, ill never get one getting old and no point but after having that for the 2 days I remembered what I was missing out on and brought the gt turbo bug back in me. One day I'll get one
